How to use the rotate image
Fix sideways phone photos, straighten a tilted horizon or mirror an image in seconds. Rotation happens in your browser, so your photo is not uploaded anywhere.
- Drop your image into the box, or tap to choose one.
- Use the 90° buttons or the angle control to rotate, or flip horizontally or vertically.
- Check the live preview.
- Press the rotate button and download the result.
Tips for better results
- Phone photos often carry an orientation tag. If a picture looks right on your phone but sideways on a computer, rotate it here so the pixels themselves are turned and it shows correctly everywhere.
- For a crooked horizon, rotate by small steps of 1-2 degrees and watch the preview. Then use Crop to trim the edges that the tilt leaves behind.
- Flipping horizontally mirrors the picture. Avoid it on photos with text, signs or logos unless you want them reversed.
- Rotate first, then resize or compress. Each later tool then works on the final orientation, and quality stays highest.

Frequently asked questions
Does rotating reduce quality?
Turning by 90°, 180° or 270° and flipping keep every pixel. Other angles need resampling, which can soften edges slightly.
What happens to the corners at other angles?
For angles that are not a multiple of 90°, the picture keeps its original canvas size, so the corners are trimmed. Use 90° steps when you need the whole image.
Is my image uploaded?
No. Rotation and flipping run in your browser.
Can I rotate several images?
Yes. Add several files and download each result.
Which formats work?
Common formats such as JPG, PNG and WebP.
Why does my photo look rotated in one app but not another?
Many cameras save an orientation tag instead of turning the pixels. Some apps read the tag and some ignore it. Rotating here turns the actual pixels, so every app shows it the same way.
Can I flip and rotate at the same time?
Yes. Set the angle and the flip options together; the preview shows the combined result before you download.
